Course Overview
The Rubber Technician Training Course is a beginning course for new rubber technicians, a beginning course for sales engineers and managers or a review course for seasoned rubber lab technicians. There are 16 hours of classroom instruction and 16 hours of focused lab testing.
The classroom instruction focuses on ASTM procedures for testing of elastomers and elastomer formulations. Rubber technology concepts are also developed to lay a foundation for understanding more completely what the test data means and how it is used in the characterization of rubber materials.
