DESCRIPTION:Course Description: The first day will consist of training needed to be able to develop a simple compound and mix procedure. At the end of day one\, a compound specification will be given to the class along with a list of available raw materials. They will have a half hour to prepare a formulation and processing instructions. During the second day\, ACE will mix and test each formulation submitted to see how close they got to meeting the specification. We will review why each compound performed as they did and identify potential modifications to make. \nA cured sample sheet from each person’s compound will be sent to them as a souvenir. The person who gets the closest to meeting the specification will receive a prize and massive bragging rights.
