Wallace Instruments awarded UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for Shore and IRHD hardness testers calibration services

Dorking, Surrey, UK – Wallace Instruments announced its United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for the calibration of hardness testers. This recognition sets Wallace apart as the only UK provider to offer both Shore and IRHD accredited calibration services with extremely small uncertainties.

As an internationally recognised standard, ISO 17025 establishes a level of best practice that is verifiable, ensuring end-users can be confident that a provider of calibration and testing services has undertaken the correct steps when calibrating their equipment.

Chris Norval, Managing Director of Wallace Instruments, explained, “This accreditation marks a significant milestone in our pursuit of excellence. As the demand for UKAS accredited calibration certificates continues to grow among our customer base, accreditation gives customers complete trust in our competence, processes, and quality systems for our calibration services. It reaffirms our dedication to continuous improvement and solidifies our position as a leader in the rubber testing industry.”

Its traceable software for secure data analysis, sample tracking, and reporting adds to the incredible flexibility and user-friendliness that its customers across the globe trust.
