ARPM announces new president and vice president

Indianapolis, IN – The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers (ARPM) announced that Christian Buhlmann, of Gates Corporation, was elected President of the ARPM Board of Directors. Serving alongside of him is Travis Turek of Bruckman Rubber, who was elected to fill the Vice President position.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Chris and Travis as our new board president and vice president. They assume these roles at an exciting time for our industry and for ARPM,” said Letha Keslar, ARPM’s managing director. “Their new roles complement our board of director’s skills and experiences, as we are confident, they will provide valuable perspectives as we continue to execute our strategy and enhance value for all ARPM members. We look forward to their contributions and are excited they chose ARPM.”

“My background has always been in technology usage or development from my earliest career days as a Naval officer,” said Christian Buhlmann. “The material science aspect of the rubber industry as it evolves with new materials is important in a world where every material is being considered. This technology area is something that ARPM is capable of helping with awareness and potential. Being asked to serve as President is an honor given the caliber of business leaders that make up the ARPM Board.”

Travis Turek is the President of Bruckman Rubber Co. and has worked in the rubber industry since 2015. He is a broadly accomplished professional with more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, continuous improvement and team building. “I am excited for the opportunity to serve all the great people at ARPM,” said Turek.
