Malaysia reports increased natural rubber production for month of June

Malaysia’s natural rubber production increased 16.8 percent to 29,914 tons in June month-on-month, according to official data. The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement that year-on-year comparison showed the production of natural rubber rose 0.2 percent. Meanwhile, total stocks of natural rubber in June decreased 8.5 percent month on month to 160,535 tons. Exports of Malaysia’s natural rubber fell 21.6 percent month-on-month to 39,800 tons in June. Tire distributor Tire Group International (TGI) announces it has acquired Avaun Tire Supply, a wholesale distributor based in Portland, Ore.

Avaun and TGI have been partners since Avaun was founded in 2016 by Sherko Rasouli and Freddie Capshaw.
