Brenntag announced a strategic distribution agreement for the U.S. with Nouryon, a global specialty chemicals leader, enabling the further penetration of the asphalt market and reach in the construction industry.

ENGEL presents the world’s largest technical center injection molding machine

ENGEL AUSTRIA GmbH has expanded its technical center in St. Valentin, Austria, with one of the largest injection molding machines from its standard portfolio: the duo 5500 combi M. With a clamping force of 55,000 kN, it is by far the largest technical center machine in the world, measuring 32 meters long, 13 meters wide, 6.8 meters high, and weighing 545 tons. ENGEL aims to use this machine to enable technologies and components in completely new dimensions in collaboration with its customers and partners. The extra-large mold space accommodates molds weighing up to 150 tons, with possible shot weights up to 42 kg.

BASF uses certified biomethane at its Ludwigshafen/Germany and Antwerp/Belgium sites as a sustainable alternative to fossil raw materials in its manufacturing process. Yokohama Rubber’s Geolandar X-CV factory-equipped on the 2024 Lexus GX 550

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that it is supplying its GEOLANDAR X-CV (Pattern No. G057E) tires as original equipment (OE) to Lexus as an available option on the new luxury on-road SUVs, the GX 550. The tire sizes are 265/55R20 113V in North America and 265/55R20 109V in Japan. The 2024 GX 550 was launched in North America in April 2024, and general sales in Japan will begin this autumn.
