Huntsman secures bluesign approved status for Irogran TPU products

Huntsman has secured bluesign® approval for ten of its IROGRAN® thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) products, which are used extensively across the textile and apparel industry. Yokohama Rubber and RAOT hold seminar event in support of natural rubber farmers in Thailand

Seventy farm households in the Surat Thani area participated in the event. Together with Yokohama Rubber employees, employees of Yokohama Rubber’s Thai natural rubber processing company Y.T. Rubber Co., Ltd., and employees of RAOT, the participants deepened their understanding of the selection and planting of natural rubber seedlings, the aims and effects of applying fertilizer, and the importance of preventing foreign substances from entering natural rubber over about five hours.

Arclin acquires RG Dispersants

Yokohama Rubber to build a new passenger car tire plant in China

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that it will build a new passenger car tire plant in China. The new plant will be located in the Qiantang New District of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and will have an initial annual production capacity of 9 million tires, with further expansion to be considered in the future. Planned capital investment is RMB1,960 million (approx. ¥36.7 billion), and production at the new plant is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2026.
