Gummiwerk KRAIBURG GmbH & Co. KG has announced its partnership with the emerging Turkish rubber compounding company, Herpol Elastomer Sanayi A.Ş. The agreement is based on an exclusive licensing agreement and highlights Herpol as Gummiwerk KRAIBURG’s preferred partner in Turkey.

Guill introduces the latest generation of its Series 800, the 2-to-6 layer extrusion tooling designed to produce the highest quality, highest material-efficient 1/8” to 6” OD tubing for automotive, medical, appliance and industrial applications. The redesigned Series 800 produces flawlessly smooth extrusion and layer definition of Fluoropolymer and other materials for all multi-layer, multi-lumen medical tubing, as well as fuel line constructions, multi-layer PEX pipe and drip irrigation applications, among others. The Guill design further allows thin layer combinations of polymers and adhesives to .02mm or less.

A total of 22 non-profit organizations received grants based on their close alignment with the company’s geographic footprint and its evolving business strategy as a sustainable mobility solutions company. Volker Cwielong has been a member of the management team of the globally present Eberspächer Group since 2017. As Co-CEO of the Purem by Eberspächer division, he was responsible for net sales of some EUR 2 billion and for more than 7’000 employees at over 40 locations on three continents. He led the sales, production, technology and innovation units and had full responsibility for the division’s results. Before, Volker Cwielong held various global management positions for international industrial groups and automotive suppliers. Volker Cwielong is a mechanical engineer and holds an MBA.

Dow has formulated a breakthrough option of polyolefin elastomers (POE) based artificial leather – a solution to address the automotive industry’s need to shift towards increasingly animal-free product alternatives to leather.

The POE alternative leather option has been commercialized by HIUV Materials Technology, a China-based partner and qualified by an electric car manufacturer in their auto seatings application.
