OTECH expands capacity with new facility in Massachusetts

OTECH has secured a 60,000 square foot facility in Auburn, Mass., to include up to three compounding lines, a laboratory, and its New England regional warehouse and offices. Opening a compounding facility in central Massachusetts to serve the thriving manufacturing base in New England and the Northeast has been a long-term goal for the organization. Engineering and site prep work are underway.

KraussMaffei appoints Dr. Alexandra Coffey as sustainability manager

Dr. Alexandra Coffey was appointed Senior Sustainability Manager of the KraussMaffei Group on January 1, 2023. She reports directly to the Management Board. Coffey comes from the Schörghuber Group, where she was also responsible for sustainability. Her thematic focus areas are CO2, single-use plastics, the environment and supply chain sourcing obligations. With the creation of this new position, KraussMaffei is reinforcing its strategy of becoming a completely sustainable company in the medium and long term. By 2030, the Group wants to achieve a corporate carbon footprint of zero and operate all plants worldwide in a CO2-neutral manner.
