The infrastructure segment in India is growing at a fast pace, and it is further getting a shot-in-the-arm due to the increased spending by the government year-after-year. Apollo Tyres, which has been looking at leveraging this growth in infrastructure, provided an experiential drive to the Fleet Owners, Business Partners and Media, at the specially curated track at the NATRAX facility in Indore, to showcase its technological prowess, especially in the truck bus radial segment.

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that since January 2024 it has become a full member of the Global Data Service Organisation for Tyres and Automotive Components (GDSO), an international non-profit association promoting standardization and access to data related to tires. As a GDSO member, Yokohama Rubber will comply with industry standards promoting individual tire identification management.

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that it has once again been recognized for leadership in corporate sustainability by the global environmental non-profit CDP, which named Yokohama Rubber to its prestigious A List for tackling climate change on February 6. Yokohama Rubber’s selection recognizes its efforts to cut emissions, mitigate climate risks, and develop the low-carbon economy, based on its responses to the CDP’s 2023 climate change questionnaire, which scored more than 21,000 companies worldwide. This is Yokohama Rubber’s two-straight and fifth time on the A list.

Under YX2026, Yokohama Rubber will further advance the “exploitation” of the strengths of its existing businesses and the “exploration” of new value and complete the transformation begun under YX2023 while being mindful to not leave any negative legacies for the next generation. Under this guiding philosophy, management will resolutely implement the growth strategies established in each business as it aims to achieve “Hockey Stick Growth” during YX2026 to fiscal 2027. Management’s targets for fiscal 2026, the final year of YX2026, are sales revenue of ¥1,150 billion, business profit of ¥130 billion, a business profit margin of 11%, and ROE of more than 10%.
