OTECH expands capacity with new facility in Massachusetts

Rolling Prairie, IN – OTECH Corporation has finalized some key changes to start 2023. After groundbreaking in 2022 on their line 10 continuous mixer, OTECH has now successfully completed installation, produced sample runs, and will be providing higher volume flexible PVC compounds for several markets and customers. This line will add over 50 million pounds of capacity at OTECH in Rolling Prairie, will allow all lines more flexibility, and will reduce lead times for customers.
Having begun construction on line 9 in mid-2022, OTECH has completed the installation of a new Banbury mixer. Line 9 will be dedicated to OTECH’s line of conductive and static dissipative PVC compounds as well as other specialty PVC compounds. This line will produce 10 million pounds of compound and will greatly reduce OTECH’s lead times for current and new customers.
OTECH has secured a 60,000 square foot facility in Auburn, Mass., to include up to three compounding lines, a laboratory, and its New England regional warehouse and offices. Opening a compounding facility in central Massachusetts to serve the thriving manufacturing base in New England and the Northeast has been a long-term goal for the organization. Engineering and site prep work are underway.
