RDAbbott expands supplier partnership with Parker LORD to cover midwest
Cerritos, CA – R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott) is now distributing Parker LORD (subsidiary of Parker Hannifin Corporation) products to even more locations across North America. Under a new distribution agreement that became effective on November 1, RDAbbott began stocking Parker LORD materials at its Barberton, Ohio, service center for shipment to customers in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. This new agreement covers Parker LORD Autoseal®, Chemlok®, Flocklok®, In-Mold Bonding Adhesives (IMB™), LokRelease™ and Sipiol® brands.
RDAbbott, a materials science, engineering, and distribution company, also supplies Parker LORD materials to customers in Canada and the Western United States. In addition, RDAbbott distributes IMB™ adhesives throughout North America. The relationship between the two companies dates back to 1958 to solve rubber-to-substrate bonding challenges. Today, Parker LORD makes adhesives, coatings, primers, and mold release agents that are recognized as industry-leading brands.

The new facility includes 60,000 sq. ft. for warehousing with 10 docks, three drive-in doors, and rail spur access. RDAbbott recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the Barberton service center, which is also the headquarters for NovationSi, its manufacturing subsidiary for highly specialized elastomer products.
