Silicone elastomers technology and fabrication course to be held April 5-8

Cerritos, CA – Rick Ziebell, RDAbbott’s VP of Technology and Technical Fellow, will be an instructor for the 2022 Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication Course, a university-accredited training event that will provide participants with 3.2 hours of continuing education credits from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

This four-day, in-person course is scheduled for April 5 to 8, 2022, and will emphasize liquid injection molding (LIM) for liquid silicone rubber (LSR), and explore extrusion and calendering for high consistency rubber (HCR). From start to finish, participants will learn the essentials of designing and fabricating with silicone elastomers.
