2025 IMDA awards spotlight innovation in in-mold decorating and labeling
Topeka, KS – The In-Mold Decorating Association (IMDA) has officially opened submissions for the 2025 IMDA Awards Competition, celebrating the most innovative and technically advanced applications in in-mold labeling (IML), in-mold decorating (IMD), and in-mold electronics (IME). The annual competition recognizes excellence in design, engineering, and execution across a global field of entries.
This year’s competition is open to products manufactured in 2024 or 2025, with entries accepted from companies around the world. The awards aim to highlight the best in in-mold technology, showcasing how these techniques enhance product durability, aesthetics, and sustainability.

May 14, 2025: Competition officially opens
June 25, 2025: Early bird entry deadline
July 16, 2025: Final entry deadline
August 2025: Judging period
September 4, 2025: Winners announced at the Plastic Product Decorating Summit
Winning entries will be featured in industry publications, showcased at major trade shows, and promoted online, offering valuable exposure to brand owners, molders, and label printers. In addition, winners of the IMDA Awards are eligible to enter the prestigious WorldStar Packaging Awards, organized by the World Packaging Organization.
