2025 Polyurethane Innovation award applications now being accepted

Washington, DC – The American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) announces that applications for the 2025 Polyurethane Innovation Award are now being accepted through June 19, 2025. The award recognizes companies and individuals whose vision and perseverance introduced industry-leading new products, technologies, and initiatives to the marketplace.

The award will be presented at the 2025 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, taking place at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch in St. Louis, Mo. from October 6-8, 2025.

“Versatile and durable, polyurethanes play a central role in modern life and solutions,” said Jason Sloan, director, CPI. “For nearly 20 years, CPI’s Polyurethane Innovation Award has recognized continual industry advancement and groundbreaking achievements that have improved military gear, streamlined color coatings, and utilized 3-D printed materials, and more.”

Last year, Woodbridge won the award for its product TrimVisible™ BIO, a more sustainable foam in which biogenic carbon replaces some petroleum-based materials in polyurethane seating foam, helping decrease the carbon dioxide footprint over a vehicle’s lifespan.
