Smithers expert to speak at 41st annual Tire Society conference

Akron, OH – Smithers announces that Matt Kent, Technical Director, Smithers Tire & Wheel Test Center, is participating in a panel discussion on the future of tire testing at the 41st annual Tire Society Conference. This year’s conference theme is “New Horizons in Tire Evaluation.”

Kent will be joined by other experts from fka GmbH, GCAPS, and Calspan for a panel titled “The Future of Tire Testing.” The panel will be moderated by Dr. Heather Bobbit of General Motors. The conference is scheduled for September 12-13, 2022, at the University of Akron and hosted by the Tire Society, the tire industry’s leading scientific professional organization.
