The Rubber Division announces their first WORD event for 2023

Akron, OH – WOMEN OF OUR INDUSTRY: Join the Rubber Division for their WORD Conversations event on March 29th 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. ET with featured guest Krista Toutant. This WORD Conversation begins with open networking for approximately 10 minutes followed by a conversation between our featured guest, Krista Toutant, the current Chair-elect, and Terry DeLapa, the Rubber Division’s 1st ever woman Chair.

This event will be held via Zoom and registration is free.

About Krista Toutant: Krista Toutant is a rubber industry professional with over 20 years of focused experience with leading manufacturers and suppliers. Currently, she is a Business Line Manager at RDAbbott Company, Inc. and sits on the company’s Steering Committee. Krista is currently Chair-elect of Rubber Division, ACS and in 2024 will serve as Chair – the 3rd woman to hold this position. Toutant received her MBA from West Virginia University and is a founding member of the Bourbon Trail Elastomer Group. Her previous service with Rubber Division, ACS includes participation in its Membership, Marketing and Future Sites Committees. Toutant was also a panelist for the first WORD (Women Of Rubber Division) Workshop held at the 2019 International Elastomer Conference.
