ARPM announces new in-person training course
Indianapolis, IN – The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers (ARPM) recently announced the ARPM Training Academy will include a variety of in-person training courses, with the first being Seals Product Design and Manufacturing.
This one-week intensive course provides comprehensive and consistent training in rubber science, product seal design (for static and dynamic sealings) and producibility. This course of in-depth principles of design are not available anywhere else in the industry or academia, and is led by veteran rubber industry professionals with a combined 140+ years of experience. The foundation of this course lies within ARPM’s industry-leading best practice documents, ARPM technical guidance documents and ARPM’s The Rubber Handbook.
Joe Walker of Elastomer Technologies, and the architect of the in-person training courses stated, “The quality of a company’s associates is directly related to their knowledge of materials, products and processes that are the fundamental backbone of the products that are being delivered to the customer.
