Future of Chemical Recycling 2024 to be held in Rotterdam

London, England – Future of Chemical Recycling 2024 will take place on 31st January & 1st February 2024, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
ACI announced two senior experts from CE Delft as speakers. Book your early bird pass to hear from Geert Bergsma, Manager Chain analysis & Martijn Broeren, Senior researcher, co-presenting during session three “Overcoming Challenges in Mass Balance and Energy Efficiency”.
As part of their presentation, they will highlight that the yield of chemical recycling technologies can be calculated similarly to how the yield of mechanical recycling is calculated.

Geert Bergsma is head of the LCA department of the Dutch independent environmental consultancy CE Delft. Het has carried out environmental analyses for 30 years about all kind of complex products like bio energy, bioplastics, hydrogen, deposit systems and plastic recycling. Geert started in the energy sector after an education at the TU Delft in energy technology. At CE Delft het shifted from energy to a complete industrial frame also including materials, products, and waste.

Martijn Broeren is a senior researcher/consultant at CE Delft, an independent environmental research organization. Since 2017, he has advised a range of companies and governments at different levels through life cycle assessment (LCA) studies. With a focus on sustainable production chains, his analyses have mostly focused on (biobased) chemicals, plastics and novel (‘chemical’) recycling technologies.
