Double Coin unveils two new tires for airport ground support
Monrovia, CA – Double Coin and CMA has unveiled two new tires for airport ground support equipment (GSE) applications.
These GSE tires advance Double Coin’s commitment to delivering high-performance solutions for the aviation industry. Each tire’s key features allow maximum endurance in the GSE environment.
“Working with some of our key partners, we found the robust REM-26 and REM-4 designs will offer excellent performance in this segment,” said Tony Cresta, director of product management at Double Coin. “These new releases offer Double Coin customers a specialized product for the increasingly important GSE segment. The REM-26 is an industrial steer-position tire for GSE.
REM-26 key features include all-steel radial casing for exceptional wear, operator comfort, and maximum efficiency; deep grooved ribs for excellent traction in all conditions; stone-rejecting structures and durable tread compounds to decrease puncture and reduce maintenance costs; and excellent traction in all weather conditions.
The REM-4 is an industrial drive position tire for GSE.
Key features of the REM-4 include all-steel radial casing for exceptional wear and operator comfort; excellent traction in all weather conditions; stone-rejecting structures and durable tread compounds decrease puncture; ;arge, deep tread blocks with square shoulders for increased traction and drive force; and minimal tread void area to increase tire life and reduce downtime.
