RDAbbott celebrates Scott Legleu’s retirement and two new additions to company

Garden Grove, CA – RDAbbott recently marked a significant milestone with the retirement of Scott Legleu, a respected figure in the rubber industry with over four decades of experience. As we bid farewell to Scott, we also welcome two new talents, Cristina DiFranco and Brittany Ploep, who have joined our team as Account Managers to carry forward Scott’s legacy of relationship-building and exceptional customer service in their respective regions.

RDAbbott is announcing the recent retirement of Scott Legleu, a rubber industry veteran with 43 years of service. Scott joined RDAbbott as a Business Development Manager in 2017 but began his rubber industry career back in the 1980s.

Colleagues from across the industry and throughout Scott’s long and successful career describe him as honest, helpful, and kind. Scott retired from RDAbbott on September 3rd and will be dearly missed by those he’s mentored and inspired.

RDAbbott Hires Two New Account Managers, Cristina DiFranco and Brittany Ploep.

Cristina DiFranco, a former Parker Lord Application Engineer, as its Account Manager for the Northeastern United States. RDAbbott has also hired Brittany Ploep, formerly of Dow, as its Account Manager for the Southeastern United States. Cristina is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and has wide-ranging industry experience, including expertise in rubber-to-substrate bonding and rubber molding. At Parker Lord, she focused on troubleshooting, training, and product selection for Chemlok® adhesive customers.

Brittany Ploep is a graduate of Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University. She worked as a Customer Service Technician for Dow, a Customer Service Representative for Dow Performance Silicones, and most recently as an Account Manager in Dow’s Plastics group. During her time at Dow, Brittany acquired extensive experience by servicing laminating adhesives customers, as well as a diverse group of automotive, aerospace, marine, and textile customers.
