Women’s Event: Join the Division for a powerful experience spotlighting the women who are navigating and leading transformation in the rubber industry. This event features a keynote speaker, small-group breakout discussions and a dynamic panel of women professionals across science, manufacturing and leadership roles. The event concludes with a networking reception. Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned expert, come ready to connect, reflect and rise together.
Welcome Reception: We conclude the end of GPS day one with a welcome reception for all attendees to enjoy. The reception features hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Get to know other attendees and exhibitors in a social, relaxed setting. We will be celebrating 50 years of Rubber Division, ACS Expos, as well as the 100-year Anniversary of both Smithers and H.M. Royal, Inc. at this event!
5K Walk/Run: Start this day off getting together for some exercise and fun, catching up with friends and making new ones. All participants will receive a t-shirt courtesy of H.M. Royal, Inc. and their 5K sponsors. The entrance fee goes towards our student outreach initiatives.
Young Professionals Events: GPS offers a variety of opportunities designed specifically for young professionals to learn, connect and thrive in the industry. From the Aspiring Leaders Discussion Panel, where seasoned professionals share their journeys and insights, to the Young Professionals Forum, which invites attendees under 40 to shape future programming, and the always popular Young Professionals Reception, where networking meets fun – these events are tailored to help emerging leaders gain knowledge, build community and advance their careers.
Executive Insights & Innovators presented by Tire Business: Tire Business is hosting a dynamic and forward-looking discussion, bringing together top executives and innovators from across the tire industry. This gathering will analyze the tire industry’s trajectory in 2025 and beyond, focusing on strategic challenges, disruptive trends, and breakthrough opportunities. These insights will be shaped from Tire Business’ 40th Annual Global Tire Report. Designed not only to facilitate meaningful dialogue between leading voices in the industry, this session will equip attendees with actionable intelligence to drive their businesses forward. Awards Ceremony: Join us at this event where we recognize many professionals who make our industry great. We will announce the winners of the Student Symposium, Service Awards, Best Paper Awards and more. New 25-year industry legends will also receive their pin and the industry longevity countdown will take place here.
