The Global Polymer Summit continues today beginning with the annual 5k Walk/Run

Cleveland, OH – The Global Polymer Summit began this morning with the annual 5k Walk/Run sponsored by H.M. Royal, Inc., followed by Wednesday’s Keynote Address that will starts at 9:00 AM in Ballroom C, Ballroom Level at the Huntington Cleveland Convention Center. Speaking will be Miguel Quiros, vice president tire industry market intelligence at GfK. Mr. Quiros will discuss, The Tire Industry in 2025: Understanding the Market Outside Your Four Walls, where he will explore the trends, challenges and opportunities facing the tire industry as it works to meet shifting vehicle, consumer and economic demands. This penetrating talk will provide a roadmap to how the industry must address demand at the manufacturing and retail levels.  

The first course of the day is, Essentials of Rubber Technology, which begins at 8:30 AM, Room 4, Concourse Level, led Joseph Walker, owner and founder of Elastomer Technologies. Participants can expect to gain fundamental understanding of rubber materials and processing during this training.
