Burgess Pigment announces price increase for all grades
Effective August 9, or as contracts allow, Burgess Pigment increased prices on all grades an average of 8 percent. Certain market segments will realize significantly higher increases, depending upon grade, form, logistics, package and volume.
In a press release, Thomas Adrien stated, “Pricing has remained unchanged since January of 2018. Costs increases have accumulated over the last four years while we continually strived to manage and reduce our customer exposure. In our present environment of unpredictable and uncontrolled raw material and logistics cost increases, we are now forced to address these unrelenting costs pressures with our customer base. Our continuing goal is to deliver the best possible Quality and Service with the most favorable economics. This increase will allow us to maintain these proven standards. We wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and we look forward to the privilege to be of service in the future.”
