Rubber Division, ACS encourages students to join professional network

Akron, OH — Rubber Division, ACS is encouraging students interested in chemistry, polymers, elastomers and rubber technology to become student members to support their education and help prepare for careers in the industry.

The Division said student membership connects participants with industry professionals, educational resources and networking opportunities designed to support professional development and career growth.

Student members can attend webinars at no cost and receive free registration for Rubber Division, ACS courses at the undergraduate level, with discounted course access available for graduate students. Members are also able to apply for scholarships offered through the organization.

Students may also join a local Student Chapter, where they can network with peers, participate in industry site visits and connect with professionals working in the rubber sector.

Membership also includes online access to Rubber Chemistry & Technology, a leading journal focused on rubber science and engineering. In addition, student members receive discounted registration for conferences, technical meetings and training events held throughout the year.

The Division said students can also expand their professional connections through its members-only online directory and gain experience through volunteer opportunities, committee participation and leadership roles.
