Yokohama ADVAN dB V552 tires are factory-equipped on SAIC Motor’s new MG7
Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that it has begun supplying its ADVAN dB V552 tires as original equipment (OE) for SAIC Motor Corporation Limited’s new MG7 sports sedan that was launched in China in January 2026. The tire size is 245/40R19 98W.
The ADVAN dB V552 is a premium comfort tire in Yokohama Rubber’s global flagship ADVAN brand range. In addition to exceptional quietness, it offers a high level of both wet grip performance and fuel efficiency—two performance characteristics that are often in conflict—thereby realizing a comfortable ride and excellent handling stability.
The new MG7 is a coupe-style mid-size sedan equipped with a turbocharged engine. The model’s latest update features a three-stage electric rear wing and dual twin exhausts as standard equipment for all trim levels, and its smart cockpit and other intelligent components have been enhanced.
Under Yokohama Rubber’s three-year (2024–2026) medium-term management plan, Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026), the consumer tire business aims to maximize the sales ratios of high-value-added tires. One of the key initiatives under this strategy is promoting the global flagship ADVAN brand tires and the GEOLANDAR brand tires for SUVs and pickup trucks as original equipment for new cars.
