Trinseo to increase prices for polystyrene, polycarbonate and copolymers in Europe

Horgen, Switzerland – Trinseo announced a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), ABS and SAN grades. Effective January 1, 2022, or as existing contract terms allow, the contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

STYRON™ general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by +175 Euro per metric ton

STYRON™ and STYRON™ A-TECH, STYRON™ C-TECH and STYRON™ X- TECH high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by +175 Euro per metric ton

CALIBRE™ Polycarbonate Resins by +210 Euro per metric ton

MAGNUM™ ABS resins by +155 Euro per metric ton

TYRIL™ SAN resins by +155 Euro per metric ton
