Smithers appoints Lee Gale director of product testing

Shropshire, UK – Smithers recently appointed Lee Gale as Director of Product Testing Operations. He will be responsible for growing Smithers Product Testing services, supporting the needs of clients across a variety of sectors, primarily focused (but not exclusively) around transportation.

Gale will be based at Smithers Shropshire, UK facilities and will lead his team who specialize in testing fluid transfer systems for vehicles. With a background in engineering and vehicle development in hands-on and leadership roles, Gale will support the organization’s commitment to meeting clients’ needs with tailored support, on time delivery and accurate data with a high touch.

He brings with him over 25 years of in-industry experience, spearheading engineering strategies, running extensive projects and implementing innovative technological processes. Having excelled working at industry-leading automotive OEMs and OEM suppliers, Gale has a deep understanding of the challenges facing clients throughout the development stages of a new product.
