Rubber Source promotes Nalex Cordova to vice president

Cambridge, ONT – Canadian rubber lining manufacturer, RubberSource Inc., announces the hiring of Nalex Cordova to Vice President to oversee their global expansion strategy. The hiring was effective as of January 2022.

RubberSource manufactures a full range of uncured and pre-cured rubber linings, Polyurea coatings, and repair products that protect metal and concrete from chemical and/or abrasion resistance. Their linings are used across various industries, including mining, aggregate, chemical storage, and transportation applications such as RailCar, ISO tanks, and over-the-road transportation of chemicals. Renowned for Permobond® (formerly Uniroyal Permobond®), RubberSource offers a suite of proven uncured rubber compounds for use in mining and oilsands applications around the world.

Cordova joined RubberSource in December 2021 after RubberSource opened a distribution location in Poland, which allowed for easy distribution across Europe, Africa, and China.

Cordova has a 15-year career in the rubber lining industry and a 30-year career in business-to-business marketing, business development, and sales. Cordova holds a Masters Degree in International Business and is highly experienced in conducting business in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and English through North and Latin American countries. He has worked across all continents, including China, Africa, Europe, and the middle-east expanding international sales. Cordova is also co-owner of the Bailey’s Rubber Lining Application Handbook, the authoritative guide to applying rubber linings.
