BKT launches new radial trailer tire for construction and farming

Seregno, Italy – Within a company’s fleet, trailers play an essential role. Their tough task is to carry heavier and heavier loads on different terrains – on or off the road. They are definitely not to be considered “second-rate” compared to a tractor, since a great deal of productivity depends on them. Choosing the specific tires to fit trailers in a way that enhances the latter’s performance increasing production efficiency is hence a crucial factor.

As an attentive market observer, BKT has once again the right response to users’ needs by providing a new product proposal for trailers employed in the toughest transport applications.

It is FL 695, an innovative, agro-industrial product specifically designed for trailers in construction and farming transport applications. This radial tire is extraordinarily resistant and durable thanks to a strong casing with multi-ply steel layers providing protection against punctures. In addition, it is made of a special compound that contributes to increased cut resistance.

FL 695 can be distinguished by its tread design with an exclusive center-block pattern that stands for excellent stability and resistance in all conditions even with heavy loads. Besides, its deep tread ensures optimal self-cleaning during on-and-off-the-road usage in addition to a long product life-cycle.

All these winning features make FL 695 a true ally even for the toughest transport operations.

Presently the tire is available in size 650/55 R 26.5.

This novelty adds to BKT’s extensive tire range that, among others, follows a well-defined philosophy: The more specific and tailored a product is for every need, the more it becomes sustainable. Choosing the right tire for every operation avoids premature wear and reduces rolling resistance. This turns into longer product durability, less fuel consumption, and a lower environmental impact. BKT offers, indeed, over 3,200 specific products for many different applications and sectors.
