Tokai Carbon announces price increase

Ft. Worth, TX – Tokai Carbon CB will raise prices on all carbon black grades in North America by $0.20/lb effective August 1, 2022. In addition, all customers will revert to standard terms and conditions, including 30-day payment terms where contracts allow.
This price increase is necessary to pay higher operating costs associated with the ongoing investment in equipment to meet increasingly rigorous environmental standards and higher operating expenses required to ensure supply continuity and increase overall reliability for our customers.
