RDAbbott hires Sean Djuricic as account manager for outside sales

Garden Grove, CA – R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott) has named Sean Djuricic, a rubber industry professional with 20+ years of sales and marketing experience, as Account Manager for outside sales starting with the U.S. West Coast. Previously, Djuricic was the sales and marketing manager for Akron Rubber Development Laboratory, Inc. (ARDL), which provides testing and development services to the rubber and plastic industries.

In his new role, Djuricic will develop business relationships, foster sales growth, provide technical support, and help to provide the best overall solutions for RDAbbott’s customers. Throughout his rubber industry career, Djuricic has demonstrated a passion for customer service, relationship building, industry involvement, and problem solving. His experience includes testing and molding with silicone rubber, as well as supporting projects involving thermoplastic elastomers.

A native of Akron, Djuricic graduated from Kent State University and served as ARDL’s sales development manager and marketing coordinator in Ohio for over ten years. In 2011, he relocated to Los Angeles to lead ARDL’s western U.S. sales while managing its national and global marketing. He is the former chair of the Ohio Rubber Group and was a director for The Los Angeles Rubber Group, Inc. (TLARGI) for two years. Djuricic is also an area director and former chair of the Energy Polymer Group and current vice chair of the Twin Cities Rubber Group. In addition, he’s taught marketing courses for the Rubber Division, ACS.
