ACE Products & Consulting changes name to ACE Laboratories
Ravenna, OH – ACE Products & Consulting, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited rubber laboratory service provider, is changing its name to ACE Laboratories, effective April25. The change reflects ACE’s significant growth and the expansion of its extensive testing, consulting, research and development capabilities.
We’re growing very quickly – adding new team members, new testing methods, innovative new equipment and more services- so we chose a name that reflects the thriving business we are, working with clients throughout the United States and around the world,” ACE founder and CEO Erick Sharp said.
In the past six months alone, ACE Laboratories has increased its staff by 50%, including a new Engineering Manager, Technical Project Manager, and Technical Sales Engineer. These additions have allowed the company to expand and diversify its services to meet the needs of its clients.
ACE is also unveiling a new logo showcasing its new name. The logo, which maintains ACE’s familiar blue-and-orange color palette, is a visual representation of its promising future. Additionally, the URL for the company’s website is changing to www.ace-laboratories.com. The company has grown from a 2,000-square-foot facility in Akron seven years ago to a 26,000-square-foot facility in the heart of Ravenna. With more than fifty new testing methods expected to be added throughout the year, ACE is positioned to fortify its status as an industry leader.
The new tests we’ll be adding will allow us to offer even more world-class services to a much wider range of clients. We’ll be able to offer a combination of tests that no other lab in the country can offer and blend that with the wealth and knowledge our team possesses,” Sharp said.
Sharp founded ACE in 2015, using his experience working for companies throughout the U.S. and Europe to build a company that quickly established itself as a leader in its industry. He focused on building the next generation of an independent testing laboratory with a broader scope for research and development.
Prior to 2014, Sharp worked in the polymer industry, but when his previous employer was purchased by a larger company, he seized the opportunity to set out on his own and launched ACE.
His thorough education on the state of rubber and silicone testing, research and development and a clear view of where the industry was heading have fueled continued growth and made ACE the choice for a growing clientele that includes multiple Fortune 500 companies.
