All India Rubber Industries Association joins the IRSG

Singapore – The International Rubber Study Group announces the All India Rubber Industries Association as their latest associate member.

All India Rubber Industries Association is one of the premier industries Association in India, established in 1945. The Association looks after the interest of the Indian Rubber Industry in both auto tyres and non-tyres sectors, covering products, raw materials and machinery. The Association has around 1300 members affiliated to it spread all over the country. The Association has its central office at Mumbai with four regional offices at New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai and a Chapter office at Pune and Gujarat.

The Association acts as a catalyst between the trade and industry and the authorities and takes up such problems with the Ministries, Rubber Board, Bureau of Indian Standard and other authorities for mitigation. These are mainly in the areas of government policies, union budget, levy of taxes and duties, fixation of standards, natural rubber related issues, inverted duty structure and so on.

The Association regularly organises seminars, talks, factory visit, conferences for the benefit of its members. Further “India Rubber Expo” an international exhibition is organised biannually since 2001. The association has been publishing monthly publication “Rubber India” for more than 70 years to disseminate information for its members.
