Arkema is showcasing a wide range of additives for rubbers and thermosetting resins at the 2022 K Show
Düsseldorf, Germany – Arkema will be showcasing a wide range of additives for PVC, engineering plastics, biopolymers, rubbers and thermosetting resins at the 2022 K Show, Hall 6, Booth C57, in Düsseldorf, Germany, October 19-26.
Plastic additives and (meth)acrylate specialties help fabricators improve performance, toughness and processability in a wide range of applications, including building & construction, thermosetting composites, structural adhesives, rubber compounds and performance plastics.
“For more than 25 years, Arkema has helped fabricators improve the materials they use,” Kevin Yocca, global marketing manager for Plastic Additives – Building and Construction, Arkema, said. “We look forward to reconnecting with them at the 2022 K Show to showcase our most recent innovations and discuss how we can better meet their global needs.”
Arkema will feature the following products at the 2022 K Show:
High-efficiency construction:
DURASTRENGTH® Impact Modifiers, offering superior impact properties and easy processing capabilities. They are designed to deliver optimum cost and performance in rigid and flexible PVC applications for windows, siding, fence, deck, rail, pipe and injection molding applications.
PLASTISTRENGTH® Acrylic Processing Aids, which enhance the extrusion or injection molding performance of polymer compounds by promoting fusion, improving melt strength, eliminating surface defects, and decreasing plate out.
SARTOMER® Specialties, high performance liquid resins, for construction, artificial marble and solid surfaces.
New energy and mobility:
CLEARSTRENGTH® MBS Impact Modifiers, which provide superior impact resistance and toughening effects for engineering plastics applications.
SARTOMER® Rubber Coagents, developed to achieve optimized processing time and efficiency, together with superior mechanical properties, for peroxide-cured rubber compounds.
Durable solutions:
BIOSTRENGTH® Modifiers, designed to improve the impact properties and performance factors of biopolymers such as polylactic acid (PLA).
SARTOMER® Advanced Liquid Resins for Toughening, ready-to-use solutions that can be easily incorporated in (meth)acrylate-based systems, enabling formulators to reach a balance of high toughness and flexibility for more durable materials.
Natural resources and circular economy:
SARTOMER® Bio-based High Performance Liquid Resins, based on renewable raw materials for use in low-VOC and high-productivity UV/LED/EB and peroxide curing systems.
DURASTRENGTH® Acrylic Impact Modifiers and PLASTISTRENGTH® acrylic process aids can be used in the processing of recycled vinyl to improve processing and mechanical property performance while incorporating more reclaimed material into vinyl building products.
Arkema will showcase a wide range of innovations alongside the additives and (meth)acrylate products.
