ARP Materials announces two new hires
Amherst, NY – ARP Materials announced the appointment of Bill Work as Vice President of Operations and Rob Martin as Vice President of Growth and Business Development. In this strategic leadership role, Bill will provide oversight of the company’s ISO system, operations, and inventory—supporting ARP’s ongoing commitment to quality, efficiency, and growth. Rob will lead strategy development and business management initiatives, with a particular focus on providing technical support in the plastic additives segment.
Mr. Work brings over two decades of experience leading operations and supply chain functions across highly regulated and technically demanding industries, including aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, chemical, and defense. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, with a strong track record of driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and implementing data-driven operational strategies.

Outside of work, Bill enjoys hiking and motorsports, bringing the same energy and focus to his personal passions as he does to his professional pursuits. With Bill’s addition, ARP Materials continues to build a high-performing leadership team focused on innovation, quality, and operational efficiency.
Rob Martin brings a wealth of experience to ARP, with a strong background in the vinyl additive industry. He has held key roles at multiple suppliers, including a 17-year tenure at Dow. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA, equipping him with a deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of the business.
In his new role, Rob will drive the development of new product lines, build supplier relationships, and shape the strategic direction for growth across ARP’s portfolio. “It’s a pleasure to be at ARP to help develop new product lines, supplier relationships, and the strategy guiding those efforts,” said Rob. Outside of his professional life, Rob is also a dedicated volunteer firefighter, exemplifying his commitment to service and community.
