ARPM announces course on advanced rubber product manufacturing technologies for this March

Indianapolis, IN – The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers (ARPM) is excited to host two in-person Training Academy courses in 2024. The first training session of the year will be held in Chicago, Illinois March 4-6 and will focus on Advanced Rubber Product Manufacturing Technologies Training.

This three-day training course focuses on the elimination of variation associated with the initial design of the rubber article and rubber compound, through the control of the compound’s consistency and manufacturing process. It will be a combination of both lectures and demonstrations designed to provide the attendees exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies that extends from chemical weigh-up through compound production and follow into automated article manufacturing and inspection.

Joe Walker, the training architect and Lead Trainer, said “The upcoming course will focus on radical technologies regarding technologies regarding the manufacturing of rubber articles. What we are doing in this session is showing how these advanced rubber manufacturing technologies can improve the bottom line. All the attendees need to bring is an open mind and to envision what’s possible.”

This training is designed for rubber industry professionals who are involved in shop-floor production planning, establishment of manufacturing process, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing management, materials and products/ recipe design, and product quality.

The Advanced Rubber Product Manufacturing Technologies training will be held March 4-6, 2024 at Ice Miller’s Chicago, Illinois facility. The second in-person training of the year will cover Seals Product Design and Manufacturing Training which will be a week-long training course beginning July 15th at Ice Miller’s Columbus, Ohio facility.
