MCPU Polymer Engineering, LLC, a developer of bio-based reactive additives for polyurethanes for more than 20 years, will introduce a new materials design framework called biocongruent chemistry at the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) 2026 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, October 5–7 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida. The framework will be unveiled in a technical paper at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7.

Continental’s group sector ContiTech today announced the expansion of its synchronous belt portfolio with the introduction of the Conti® Synchrotwin™ family of double-sided synchronous belts. The new platform will gradually replace the company’s current Dual Sided High-Performance Belt offering while providing customers with a broader product range, increased availability and enhanced performance capabilities.

PiXARGUS said its new ProfilControl 7 RubberFleX uses optical cameras and software to continuously inspect rubber profiles as they move through an extrusion line. The system can check the shape and dimensions of a product while also looking for surface problems such as holes, scratches, bubbles, cracks and color variations.

The system is designed with a modular sensor head that can accommodate between one and eight cameras. Manufacturers can position the cameras according to the portions of a rubber profile that need to be monitored, allowing the equipment to be configured for different products and production requirements.

Pirelli is the exclusive supplier of 22-inch tires for the new BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET. For this model, Pirelli has developed a bespoke P Zero, which is also available for the Coupé version. The tire has been designed to provide the Gran Turismo with grip, even at the high speeds of which this convertible is capable, while also delivering the comfort and precision required by the German luxury brand.
