Goodyear and NASCAR announced a new multi-year agreement

With one of the longest-running relationships in racing history, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and NASCAR announced a new multi-year agreement renewing Goodyear’s position as the exclusive tire for NASCAR’s top three national series.
The agreement continues Goodyear’s designation as the “Official Tire of NASCAR,” as well as the title sponsor of the annual Goodyear 400, NASCAR’s Official Throwback Weekend Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway.

KraussMaffei names Li Yong as new CEO

At its November 29 meeting, the KraussMaffei Group (KMG) Supervisory Board acknowledged with approval CEO Dr. Michael Ruf’s personal request not to extend his contract, which expires at the end of March 2023, and named Mr. Li Yong as his successor. Since 2018, KraussMaffei Group GmbH has been part of KraussMaffei Company Limited, a stock corporation listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder is Sinochem, one of the world’s leading chemical conglomerates.

Trelleborg acquires automotive boots market leader in India

Trelleborg Group has, through its business area Trelleborg Industrial Solutions, signed an agreement to acquire an operation specializing in automotive boots for the fast-growing Indian light vehicles market. The operation is part of the India-based privately owned company Injectoplast. The acquisition means that Trelleborg further strengthens its globally leading market position in automotive boots. The company has its head office and manufacturing in Kanpur, in the north of India, close to a light vehicle manufacturing cluster, and has annual sales of approximately SEK 70 M.
