BASF joins Knowde storefront

San Jose, CA – Knowde, the first digital customer experience platform built specifically for ingredients, polymers, and chemistry, has announced it has a new customer in BASF, the world’s leading chemical company. “This is a huge milestone for Knowde and the future of digitalization in the chemical industry as we continue to redefine the way suppliers and their customers engage, communicate and transact online,” said Ali Amin-Javaheri, co-founder and CEO of Knowde. “The research and development (R&D) and procurement professionals who utilize our marketplace each month to create and formulate the products of tomorrow now have access to significantly more innovative and sustainable chemistry on Knowde.”

BASF’s storefront on Knowde features products for the personal care, food and nutrition, health care and pharmaceuticals, industrial, paints and coatings, automotive and transportation, printing and packaging, building and construction, agricultural and feed, and household, industrial, and institutional (HI&I) cleaning markets. This includes a wide range of products designed to help companies meet their sustainability goals.

In addition, BTC Europe, BASF’s European sales organization for specialty chemicals, has opened a storefront on Knowde, featuring about 2,500 products.
