BFGoodrich and the Skip Barber Racing School announce new partnership

Greenville, SC – The Skip Barber Racing School and BFGoodrich Tires announce a new partnership between the iconic racing school and the legendary American tire brand.

The pairing of Skip Barber Racing School with BFGoodrich marks a reunion for the storied companies who had previously been partners for over two decades helping each other to develop tires and train the most iconic names in motorsports. Indianapolis 500 winners Josef Newgarden and Alexander Rossi both began their careers by competing in the BFGoodrich-supported Skip Barber Race Series, as did Red Bull Racing’s Sergio Perez. NASCAR star Ross Chastain regularly visits the Skip Racing School to train on BFGoodrich rubber.

“The opportunity to reunite with BFGoodrich was one we simply could not pass up,” Skip Barber Racing School Chief Marketing Officer Dan DeMonte said. “Few things are more important to us at Skip Barber than the tires we put on our vehicles, and nothing is more important than ensuring our students receive a once-in-a-lifetime experience. BFGoodrich Tires is the perfect partner to deliver the best possible product. The history and legacy of both iconic brands will serve each firm extraordinarily well.”

As part of the multifaceted agreement, students at the Skip Barber Racing School will enjoy the latest and most advanced BFGoodrich tires on all Skip Barber GT Racing School vehicles.

“The BFGoodrich Tire team is thrilled to partner with the Skip Barber Racing School, a respected name in the racing industry,” said Kimbrelly Kegler, BFGoodrich Brand Director. “This partnership will be mutually beneficial. Having Skip Barber vehicles built on BFGoodrich tires will elevate its consumer track experiences to another level of reliability and performance. Plus, drivers will have the opportunity to see and feel why the BFGoodrich brand is trusted by the experts.”
