Bolder Industries named winner of the 2025 Tyre Pyrolysis Award

Boulder, CO – Bolder Industries, the circular solutions provider for the rubber, plastics, and petrochemical industries, has been named the 2025 Tyre Pyrolysis Award Winner at the Recircle Awards, held last week during the Autopromotec exhibition in Bologna, Italy. The honor recognizes Bolder’s industry-changing innovation, commercial execution, and unmatched commitment to traceable circularity in tire pyrolysis and advanced recycling.

Presented immediately following the “Future of Retreading and Tyre Recycling Conference”, the Tyre Pyrolysis Award is among the Recircle Awards’ most anticipated honors, highlighting companies driving tangible progress in circular manufacturing.

“This award is a tremendous validation of the work we’ve done to bring real, scalable circularity to the tire and rubber industries,” said Tony Wibbeler, Founder and CEO of Bolder Industries. “Our team has built a truly circular system designed around traceability, environmental performance, and integration with the world’s leading manufacturers. We’re honored to be recognized alongside such influential innovators.”

Bolder’s proprietary process transforms each end-of-life tire into high-performance, circular raw materials, including BolderBlack®, a recovered carbon black alternative, and BolderOil™, a drop-in petrochemical replacement. These materials are actively used by global tire, rubber, and plastics manufacturers and are delivered with third-party-certified traceability data.

“Bolder Industries has taken tire pyrolysis from a promising concept to a proven, industrial-scale solution,” said David Wilson, Publisher of Tyre & Rubber Recycling and Host of the Recircle Awards. “Their commitment to transparency, measurable impact, and global deployment made them a worthy winner of this year’s award.”
