Cabot Corporation announces price increase for all Cab-O-Sil and Cab-O-Sperse products

Boston, MA – Effective for all shipments on or after September 15, or as contracts allow, Cabot Corporation will raise prices globally for all Cab-O-Sil fumed and colloidal silicas, and Cab-O-Sperse aqueous dispersions products. Prices will be increased up to 10 percent, depending on the product grade.

The price increase is necessary to address rising costs associated with transportation, raw materials and operations across regions.

The increase will help ensure that Cabot remains a reliable, long term supplier of high quality products and services. Furthermore, the price increase will enable Cabot to continue to invest in the development of new products and applications to support its customers.
