The Neotech Bridge is a silicone nipple cover with a built-in channel that attaches to a syringe filled with breastmilk or formula. The syringe allows mothers to control the amount and flow to keep the baby at the breast, feeding continuously which help to further promote natural milk production.
The market opportunity is vast as a large percentage of mothers experience breastfeeding challenges. While initially targeting hospitals, Neotech is now also focused on the retail space as well. And since taking over the product, Neotech continues to grow sales each year.

U.S. Medical Glove Company (USMGC) announced the launch of a new division, U.S. Medical Accessories (USMA), to support its growing business of building proprietary medical exam glove-making machines.

The new division, USMA, will exclusively supply USMGC customers with support and service for its machines. Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. has developed a ST-OR Type heat-shrinkable silicone rubber tubing for busbar covering for the first time in the industry.

A busbar is a conductive metallic strip, typically made of copper or aluminum, and is used for power connection or distribution. Busbars have found wide-ranging applications and grown in demand for use not only in switchboards and control panels but also in electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicles (HEVs) more recently.

Guill Tool & Engineering introduces the new Micro Medical, an extrusion crosshead that uses micro-fine adjustment screws for precise concentricity adjustment. The precision of concentricity reaches 0.008” or finer per revolution. This single point concentricity adjustment is a unique Guill innovation for the extrusion of thin-walled and precision ID/OD medical tubing. One adjustment bolt controls 360° of adjustment.

USMGC oversees on American soil every stage of production—from raw materials, to machine manufacturing, to deploying AI technology in the development of its proprietary ERP, to the distribution of the final products.

The soft electrodes developed by Klas Tybrandt’s research group at Linköping University are stretchable to follow the body’s movements without damaging tissue. They consist of extremely thin threads of gold and soft silicone rubber. “The classical conductors used in electronics are metals, which are very hard and rigid. The mechanical properties of the nervous system are more reminiscent of soft jelly. In order to get an accurate signal transmission, we need to get very close to the nerve fibers in question, but as the body is constantly in motion, achieving close contact between something that is hard and something that is soft and fragile becomes a problem”, says Klas Tybrandt, professor of materials science at the Laboratory of Organic Electronics at Linköping University, who led the research.
