Bridgestone recognized as 2025 Supplier of the Year by General Motors

Bridgestone was recognized by General Motors (GM) as a 2025 Supplier of the Year, marking the company’s 11th consecutive and 24th overall recognition from GM. Bridgestone was awarded this distinction during GM’s 34th annual Supplier of the Year event in Austin, Texas. Bridgestone was one of 103 companies across 14 countries to earn GM’s 2025 Supplier of the Year out of its network of more than 20,000.

IKO completes Blair Rubber solar project

Goodyear to offer 6-year senior notes

Goodyear intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay, redeem or repurchase its outstanding 4.875% Senior Notes due 2027 (the “4.875% Notes”) at or prior to their maturity on March 15, 2027. Any remaining net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. As of March 31, 2026, there was $700 million in aggregate principal amount of the 4.875% Notes outstanding. Pending the repayment, redemption or repurchase of the 4.875% Notes, Goodyear intends to temporarily apply a portion of the net proceeds from this offering to repay outstanding balances under certain credit facilities.

Subaru Trailseeker to come equipped with Yokoma Advan V61 tires

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that it has begun supplying its ADVAN V61 and GEOLANDAR X-CV tires as original equipment (OE) for the new Trailseeker (European specification name: E-Outback) SUV-type battery electric vehicle (BEV) that Subaru Corporation first debuted in the U.S. in April 2025. The tires supplied in Japan and Europe are ADVAN V61 tires size 235/60R18 103H, and those supplied in North America are GEOLANDAR X-CV size 235/50R20 100V.

Honda Super-One to come factory equipped with Yokohama Advan Fleva tires

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that it is supplying its ADVAN FLEVA V701 tires as original equipment (OE) to Honda Motor Co., Ltd. for use on the automaker’s Super-ONE compact EV, which was launched first in Japan in May 2026 and will be introduced gradually in the U.K. and various Asian countries. The Super-ONE is being equipped with 185/55R15 82V size tires.
