Shibaura Machine to become majority shareholder of LWB Steinl

Shibaura Machine, a Japanese manufacturer of injection molding equipment, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire 80% of the shares in Germany-based LWB Steinl GmbH. This move is part of Shibaura’s strategy to expand its presence in Europe, especially in the rubber and plastics molding market. WB’s site in Altdorf, Germany, will become Shibaura’s European headquarters and production hub.

Huntsman expands TPU distribution with Wobatek GmbH

Huntsman has expanded its distribution relationship with WOBATEK Kunststoffvertriebs GmbH, a specialist provider of engineering plastics for industrial applications in Central and Eastern Europe.

Liberty Tire Recycling announced that its employees and partners raised $132,785 in 2025 to support Blessings in a Backpack, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting childhood hunger by providing food on weekends to school-aged children who might otherwise go hungry.

This marks the second year of Liberty’s partnership with Blessings in a Backpack. With each contribution, Liberty is helping ensure that children across America have access to nutritious meals outside of school hours.
