Continental announced the sale of its ContiTech business area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) to Regent. The transaction is subject to antitrust approval. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price and further details. The sale is part of the ContiTech group sector’s strategy to focus even more on industrial customers. With this step, Continental continues the course outlined at its Capital Market Day in June, aimed at establishing four strong independent champions.

Evonik has inaugurated its new world-scale alkoxides production facility on Jurong Island, Singapore—marking a major milestone in its global catalyst strategy. First announced in May 2023, the mid-double-digit-million-euro investment strengthens Evonik’s ability to meet rising demand for alkoxides across Asia, while advancing its commitment to sustainable, safe, and customer-focused operations.

The delivery and installation of pyrolysis reactors have begun as planned at the tire recycling facility being constructed by Enviro outside Uddevalla. The first of five reactors has arrived, with the remaining units scheduled for delivery through week 39.

These reactors are central to the facility’s operations, where end-of-life vehicle tires are processed to recover valuable materials such as carbon black, oil, and steel.
