Pirelli, the only tire company included in both the World and Europe indices, obtained a score of 84 points in the context of the 2024 S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment, the highest in both the Auto Components and Automobiles sectors, significantly higher that the component and auto sector averages of 29 points and 35 points respectively.

Prinx Chengshan Tire North America, Inc. (PCTNA) has announced a recall of over 541,000 winter tires due to insufficient snow traction. The recall affects more than 100 sizes of Fortune Tormenta and Prinx Hicountry tires, which were sold as replacement tires in the U.S. These tires, marked with the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol, passed European traction tests but failed to meet North American standards.
