The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that it has begun supplying its BluEarth-FE AE30 tires as original equipment (OE) to Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (hereafter, Mitsubishi Motors) for use on the automaker’s new mini-vehicle, eK Space, which was launched in October 2025. The eK Space is being equipped with 155/65R14 75S size tires.

The awards, presented by Phibrand, acknowledge excellence among suppliers serving Chile’s mining industry. The 2025 survey included nearly 60 leading large- and medium-sized mining companies, and approximately 400 industry users were interviewed between June and August. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation reached approximately 385 million euros. This was achieved despite a sizeable negative foreign exchange impact. The adjusted EBITDA margin rose to just over 15 percent, compared to 14.8 percent in the same period last year, underscoring management’s continued focus on margins rather than volume growth.

In a challenging market environment, interest in DESMA’s new developments remained very high, and the company recorded nearly the same number of customer visits as at K 2022.
