Continental has developed an electronic brake control system for the Bugatti Bolide, a hypercar featuring an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC) and traction control system (TCS), based on the “Motorsports ABS Kit by Continental Engineering Services.” This motorsports brake control system makes the 1,600 hp racing car controllable for professional racing drivers and enthusiasts alike. The Bugatti Bolide is an extremely powerful racing car from the hypercar manufacturer which is approved only for the racetrack. Originally conceived as a concept vehicle based on the Bugatti Chiron production model, the Bolide is now being built in a limited run of 40 units, with the first deliveries scheduled before year-end.

The Mitsubishi Chemical Group (the MCG Group) announced that its plant-derived polyol “BioPTMG” has been adopted by Kahei Co., Ltd. as a synthetic leather (bio-synthetic leather) material. In addition, small items (shoulder bags, wet tissue cases, etc.) made with this bio-synthetic leather will be available for purchase at “tonto,” run by Triple A Co., Ltd., a planner and marketer of sustainable products.
Bio-synthetic leather is made from plant-derived raw materials, among synthetic leathers that use materials other than synthetic leather materials made from non-animal-derived materials.

Solvay announced the official inauguration of its regenerative thermal oxidation (RTO) process at its Green River, Wyoming plant, marking a key milestone in the Group’s global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and drive sustainable growth. This innovative emissions control technology, the first of its kind in the trona mining industry, enhances Solvay’s long-term competitiveness while contributing to a group-wide goal of lowering emissions. It will contribute to reducing GHG emissions at the Green River plant by up to 20% annually and support achieving a 4% reduction in emissions at Group level by 2025.
